Ryan K. Buchanan

Ryan Karim Buchanan is an American lawyer who served as the United States attorney for the Northern District of Georgia from 2022 to 2025.

[2] In 2005 and 2006, Buchanan served as a law clerk for Judge Inge Prytz Johnson of the United States District Court for the Northern District of Alabama.

He joined the United States Attorney's Office for the Northern District of Georgia in 2010.

[3][4] On November 12, 2021, President Joe Biden announced his intent to nominate Buchanan to serve as the United States attorney for the Northern District of Georgia.

[5] On January 13, 2022, his nomination was reported out of the Senate Judiciary Committee.
