[5] Meikle made the semi-finals of the 2019 PDC World Youth Championship but lost 6–3 to Adam Gawlas.

[5] He qualified for the 2020 PDC World Darts Championship where he lost on his debut against Yuki Yamada.

[6] Meikle was able to qualify for the 2021 PDC World Darts Championship and again lost in the first round, this time against Keegan Brown, without winning a set.

[5] On the third attempt, Meikle was able to win his first round match at the 2022 PDC World Darts Championship, where he won against debutant Fabian Schmutzler 3–0, then he lost against Peter Wright 3–0.

He defeated the 6th seed Gary Anderson 6–5 in a deciding leg in the first Round, before losing to Martin Schindler.
