Ryggs Johnston (born May 21, 2000) is an American professional golfer.

[1] Johnston attended Arizona State University for five years 2020–24, where he helped the Arizona State Sun Devils men's golf team to the 2024 Pac-12 title.

[3] In November 2024, Johnston earned his 2025 European Tour card at Q School.

In his second start, ranked world number 954, he won the ISPS Handa Australian Open at Kingston Heath Golf Club and Victoria Golf Club, an event co-sanctioned by the European Tour and the PGA Tour of Australasia.

[4] Johnston was named after Mel Gibson's character in Lethal Weapon.
