One-day races and Classics Sébastien Hinault (born 11 February 1974) is a French former professional road racing cyclist, who competed professionally between 1997 and 2014, competing in seventeen Grand Tours.
[1] Born in Saint-Brieuc, Hinault debuted in 1997 with the French team GAN, which later became Crédit Agricole, and has competed in the Tour de France five times.
[2] Hinault retired from competition at the end of the 2014 season and in October 2014 was announced as a directeur sportif for the Bretagne–Séché Environnement team for 2015.
