Søren Sveistrup

Søren Sveistrup (born 7 January 1968 in Kastrup) is a Danish screenwriter and author.

His credits include The Killing and Nikolaj og Julie.

Sveistrup is considered a "household name" in Scandinavia.

[1] He grew up on Thurø,[2] a small island in the south-east of Funen.

[1] He studied history and literature at the University of Copenhagen, followed by screenwriting at the National Film School of Denmark in 1997.
