SV Grohn

In 1947, it was renamed TSV Grohn von 1883, and in 1956, the football section became independent with its current name.

One of the club's notable achievements was competing in the Gauliga Weser-Ems during the 1943/44 season at the highest level and facing SV Werder Bremen in a home league match (3–1).

SV Grohn currently competes in the Oberliga Bremen,[2] which is the sixth tier of the German football league system.

The club has been playing in the lower divisions for most of its history, with occasional promotions and relegations.

The club's home games are played at the BSA Oeversberg in Bremen,[3] which has a capacity of 2,000 spectators.
