Throughout the 1950s and 1960s, Victoria Seelow had moderate success and established itself as a competitive team within Brandenburg football.

In the 1990s, SV Victoria Seelow experienced success, earning several promotions and ascending through the German football league system.

In the 1999–2000 season, Victoria Seelow achieved its first promotion to the NOFV-Oberliga Nord, the fourth tier of German football at the time.
