Saba Faisal (Punjabi, Urdu: صبا فیصل; 31 January 1960) is a Pakistani actress and former news anchor.
[1] In her career spanning more than four decades, she has appeared in several acclaimed television serials, theatre dramas, plays and films, mainly in Urdu language.
[4] In 1981, Faisal and some of her friends visited PTV Lahore Centre, and there, a director noticed her and convinced her to audition for newscasting, which she did but was selected as an announcer which she did for three years later.
She was selected for Khabarnama at 9p.m., the main news bulletin of the day at PTV.
Saba's sons, Arsalan and Salman, and daughter, Sadia, are models and actors.
