Born on 10 March 1932 in Jakarta,[1] Sahati received her bachelor's degree in chemistry from the Bandung Institute of Technology in 1963.
[2] Sahati taught inorganic chemistry at the university and translated several textbooks on the subject.
Around November 1976, Sahati conducted a two-week trip to Japan, where she visited universities and chemical facilities.
[1] On 19 November 1984, Sahati became the dean of University of Indonesia's Faculty of Math and Natural Science.
[7] Sahati died on 14 April 2020 at her residence in Bandung, West Java.
