Saibal Chatterjee is an Indian film critic, editor and documentary screenwriter.

[1] He was a columnist at BBC News,[2] Business Standard,[3] Hindustan Times[4] and The Financial Express.

[6] In addition, he has served as the editor of TV World; and a consultant to Zee Premiere.

[9][10] Chatterjee started his career as a journalist for The Telegraph, Kolkata's news desk in 1984 and worked there until he moved to New Delhi in 1990, joining The Times of India.

[1] He was the founding member of Indian Film Institute and currently serves as its Vice Chairman.
