In 2012, Jade won the fourth season of The X Factor Australia, the first woman to win the Australian series.

On 28 October 2016, Jade announced a new single "Hurt Anymore" in collaboration with Cyrus Villanueva, which was released on 4 November.

A few days after the finale on August 16, Jade released the EP titled Love.Sick.Vol.2, through label 3Keys Records, with its lead single "Peachy".
