Samuel Denny Street

Samuel Denny Street (May 16, 1752 – December 11, 1830) was an English-born lawyer and political figure in New Brunswick.

Street apprenticed with a London attorney and practiced law for a time before joining the Royal Navy.

After his discharge from the navy he went to Halifax, Nova Scotia in 1776, joined the Royal Fencible Americans, and was sent to Fort Cumberland (near Sackville, New Brunswick) later that year with his regiment.

Street took part in a number of missions to Maine during the American Revolutionary War.

After his escape the rest of the war was quiet for him and eventually he was retired on half pay.
