Samuel Rabin

Samuel Rabin (1905 – May 7, 1993) was an American lawyer and politician.

He was admitted to the bar, and practiced law in Jamaica, Queens.

In January 1974, he was appointed by Governor Malcolm Wilson to the New York Court of Appeals, to fill the vacancy caused by the resignation of Adrian P.

[1] In June 1974, he was designated by the Republican State Committee to run for one of the vacancies on the Court of Appeals but he declined to run, being already 69 years old, just one year short of the constitutional age limit.

[2] In 1975, he returned to the Appellate Division, and retired from the bench in 1981.
