Sand Springs Fire Department

The Sand Springs Fire Department covers multiple communities in Tulsa, Creek, and Osage counties.

In March 1913, the Bucket Brigade was replaced with the 500 feet of fire hose purchased by the city.

The Sand Springs Fire Departments numbers of paid firefighters increased to twenty eight.

[6][7] The Sand Springs Fire Department consists of 33 operational personnel, as well as four administrative staff members.

The Sand Springs Fire Department is housed in modern, technologically advanced facilities that allow operational personnel to prepare for and respond to emergency incidents with greater accuracy and efficiency than ever before.

Hall Public Safety Center opened for operation in 2019, located on the north side of Sand Springs.
