Sandy Johnson (baseball)

Sanfrid DeForest Johnson (born October 24, 1940)[1] is an American professional baseball scout and player development executive.

Johnson spent the 2009 season as vice president, scouting, of the New York Mets of Major League Baseball.

Johnson threw and batted right-handed, stood 6 feet (1.83 m) tall and weighed 165 pounds (75 kg).

The following year, he switched to the Major League Baseball Scouting Bureau, where he was the East Coast supervisor through 1981.
