Lieutenant-General Alexander James Sanson "Sandy" Storrie, CB, CBE (born 1962) is a former senior British Army officer who served as Deputy Commander of the NATO-led Resolute Support Mission in Afghanistan.
Storrie was born in Exeter and educated at Pembroke College, Oxford.
[4] After that he became Assistant Chief of the Defence Staff (Military Strategy) in 2011, Deputy Commandant of the Royal College of Defence Studies in October 2013[5] and Deputy Commander Resolute Support Mission in April 2016.
[6] Storrie was appointed Commander of the Order of the British Empire (CBE) on 11 September 2009 in recognition of his contribution to Operation Telic XII.
[7] He was appointed Companion of the Order of the Bath (CB) in the 2017 New Year Honours.
