[1] Walsh was born in Torrance, California, and moved to Ashland, Missouri, in 1986.
[5][6] In 2005, Walsh worked as a legislative assistant in the Missouri House of Representatives.
[7] Walsh was elected to the House in April 2017 to replace Caleb Jones, who resigned to take on the job as deputy chief of staff to Missouri Governor Eric Greitens.
[2] Walsh also served as chair of the House Consent and Procedure Committee.
[10][11] On July 7, 2021, Walsh announced her candidacy for Missouri's 4th congressional district in the 2022 election.
