Satsuma-Shioya Station (薩摩塩屋駅, Satsuma-Shioya-eki) is a passenger railway station located in the city of Minamikyūshū, Kagoshima Prefecture, Japan.
It was previously an interchange station with one island platform and two tracks.
Traces of this can still be seen in the wiring and now deadheaded second track used as a siding for storing maintenance machinery.
With the privatization of Japanese National Railways (JNR), the successor of JGR, on 1 April 1987, JR Kyushu took over control of the station.
