Satyapal Singh Yadav

He was minister in the Atal Bihari Vajpayee government from 1998 to 1999 and held the portfolio of food and consumer affairs.

He was born in 1942 at village Siura (Katra) and passed MA and LLM from Lucknow University.

He entered politics soon after studies and was elected to Uttar Pradesh Legislative Assembly in 1974 from the seat of Tilhar.
