Satyendra Das

[2] Acharya Satyendra Das was born in Sant Kabir Nagar, Uttar Pradesh, approximately 100 kilometers from Ayodhya.

After receiving his Acharya degree in 1975, he became an assistant teacher in the grammar department of Sanskrit Mahavidyalaya, Ayodhya, in 1976.

In 1992, following the death of the site administrator and discussions among Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) leaders and saints, Das was appointed the chief priest of the Ram Janmabhoomi temple, succeeding Laldas.

[8][9] Acharya Satyendra Das was involved in the preparations for the construction of the Ram Temple following the 2019 Supreme Court verdict.

Das responded by stating that invitations were extended to all devotees of Ram and defended the Prime Minister's actions as devotional rather than political.

[11][12] In January 2024, Das expressed concern about leaked pre-installation images of the Ram Lalla idol circulating online.
