Scott Levine is an American who on July 22, 2004, was charged with the largest computer crime indictment in United States history.
Federal prosecutors alleged that Levine unlawfully accessed databases of consumer data aggregator Acxiom to steal detailed personal information about millions of people; 1.6 billion database records were stolen.
He was sentenced on February 22, 2006, to 8 years in prison by U.S. District Judge William R. Wilson.
