Scott Lewis (politician)

Scott Lewis (born June 2, 1961) is an American politician who has served as a Republican member of the Kentucky House of Representatives since January 2019.

[1] He was first elected in 2018 when incumbent Matt Castlen retired to run for the Kentucky Senate.

[2] Lewis graduated from Stuart High School before attending the University of Louisville and earning a Bachelor of Science degree.

Later, he earned a Master of Arts degree and Rank I Certification from Western Kentucky University.

[3] He has been employed as an educator at various levels including as a teacher, coach, and principal before being chosen as superintendent of Hancock County Schools in 2006.
