[8] He attended the University of Washington (Seattle) from 1990-1995, receiving (4) Varsity letters for men's golf.

After college, in late 1995, Morrison went to work for Seattle based clothing company Derek Andrew.

Morrison moved to New York City in 1997 to work at a new division of Mudd Jeans, and in 1999, started Paper Denim & Cloth.

[9] In 2004 Morrison left Paper Denim & Cloth to start Earnest Sewn.

In 2011, Morrison started 3x1, America's first bespoke denim tailor in SoHo, New York City.
