See text Scorpididae The sea chubs, also known as rudderfish and pilot fish and in Hawaiian as enenue or nenue,[2][3] are a family, Kyphosidae, (from Greek, kyphos = hump) of fishes in the order Perciformes native to the Atlantic, Indian and Pacific Oceans usually close to shore in marine waters.

[4] The four subfamilies with 12 genera in this family are: Some authorities raise the subfamilies to full family status as the families Girellidae, Kyphosidae, Microacanthidae and Scorpididae and do not support the monophyly of the Kyphosidae as outlined above.
