Serbini Ali

Serbini bin Haji Ali (born 10 April 1955) is Brunei's ambassador to the United States.

[1][2] Ali earned a master's degree in law and diplomacy from The Fletcher School at Tufts University.

After serving as first secretary at the Bangkok Embassy in 1984, he returned to Brunei as deputy director for protocol and consular affairs.

In 1989, Ali was appointed first secretary in Tokyo and returned home in 1992 to serve as deputy director of the Economic Affairs Department.

In the same year, he returned to diplomatic service as permanent representative to the European Union and ambassador to Belgium and Luxembourg.
