Sergei Tchoban was born in Leningrad, Soviet Union (now Saint Petersburg, Russia) into a family of scientists.
[7] Sergei Tchoban's designs were implemented in Berlin including the timber hybrid office ensemble EDGE Suedkreuz Berlin,[8] the new development Rosenthaler Strasse 43-45 with the Apple Store Rosenthaler Straße,[9] the TechnoCampus Berlin,[10] the office buildings Greifswalder Strasse 226[11] and Boxhagener Strasse 80,[12] the Coca-Cola Germany headquarters,[13] the AquaDom,[14] Mall of Berlin complex,[15],the Jewish Cultural Center and Synagogue Chabad Lubavitch on Munsterstrasse,[16] NHow hotel,[17] the building of the Museum of Architectural Drawing,[18] a number of residential buildings including Living Levels,[19] Ackerstrasse 29,[20] the Koenigstadt-Quartier,[21] Embassy,[22] 3 Höfe or Schoenegarten[23] as well as revitalisation projects such as Ernst-Reuter-Platz 6,[24] Blissestrasse 5[25] or the Neue Kranzler Eck.
His drawings have been exhibited in numerous museums and galleries worldwide and can be found in the collections of the Victoria and Albert Museum in London, the Albertina in Vienna, the Museu Oscar Niemeyer in Curitiba, the Museo della Grafica in Pisa, the Istituto Centrale per la Grafica in Rome, the Akademie der Künste and the Mies van der Rohe - House in Berlin, the Deutsches Architekturmuseum (DAM) in Frankfurt/Main as well as in numerous private collections.
