Sergey Sokol

Sergey Mikhailovich Sokol (Russian: Сергей Михайлович Сокол; born 17 December 1970 in Sevastopol, Soviet Union) is a Russian political figure, deputy of the 7th and 8th State Dumas.

[1] From 1992 to 1994, Sokol was an Assistant Secretary of the Embassy of the Russian Federation in Ecuador.

He left the post on 22 October 2002, as he started a new job at the administration of the Krasnoyarsk Krai.

From 2004 to 2008, he worked as Deputy Governor and Chief of Staff of the Administration Council of the Krasnoyarsk Territory.

However, local media has been critical of his activities as a deputy by pointing out the fact that he did not prepare any draft law on any of the crucial issues concerning the region.
