Serrognathus taurus

Serrognathus taurus is a species of beetle belonging to the family Lucanidae which was described by Johan Christian Fabricius in 1801.

[2] Serrognathus taurus reaches a length of about 50–60 millimetres (2.0–2.4 in) in males and about 40–45 millimetres (1.6–1.8 in) in females.

The head and the pronotum are dark brown, while elytra are clearer.

Serrognathus taurus can be found in Philippines, Indonesia and Malaysia.
