Shah Kot Tehsil

Shahkot (Urdu: شاہ کوٹ), is a town and one of three tehsils in the Nankana Sahib District of Punjab, Pakistan.

It also has Baba Nau Lakh Hazari Mizar which is visited by hundreds of people from different cities every year.

Shahkot is a part of Indus basin that has gradually been filled up by alluvium brought by the rivers from the north.

The general features are high summer temperature with hot dry winds and frequent dust storms.

The DarbarNaulakhaHazari is located close to the hill and a natural pond is one of the major places of attraction for the citizens of the district and the region.
