Shaman King is an anime television series based on the manga of the same name written by Hiroyuki Takei.

As a result, the later half of episodes are completely unrelated to the manga, with a separate definite conclusion created for the 2001 series.

4Kids Entertainment obtained the rights to broadcast the Shaman King anime in the United States,[5] where it premiered on FoxBox on September 6, 2003.

[9][10] Two DVD compilations of the English adaptation have been released by Funimation between October 19, 2004, and March 29, 2005, in an uncut form.
