Shane Holsinger is a former American Indoor Football Association (AIFA) wide receiver who played for the Huntington Heroes in its debuting 2006 season.
Holsinger played football at the South Point High School in Ohio, where he described a constant change in coaches resulted in a lackluster performance.
From there, Holsinger joined the men's basketball team at Eastern Kentucky University as a walk-on.
During the Heroes' debut season, Holsinger scored the team's highest number of receptions, yardage and touchdowns.
In recognition of his performance, Holsinger was named to the 2006 AIFL Northern Conference ProStars Second Team[1]
