Shaul Stampfer (Hebrew: שאול שטמפפר; born 1948) is a researcher of East European Jewry specializing in Lithuanian yeshivas, Jewish demography, migration and education.
He graduated from Lincoln High School in 1965 and moved to Israel in the 1970s.
Professor Stampfer currently resides in the Ramot neighborhood of Jerusalem.
Stampfer is currently a professor emeritus of Soviet and East European Jewry at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
