Shaun Saiko (born November 13, 1989) is a Canadian retired professional soccer player.
After impressing during a trial, Saiko began his professional career with Middlesbrough in the English Football League Championship.
[1] Despite playing extensively with the reserves[2] he never made a first team appearance for the club and was released at the end of the 2009-10 season.
Returning home to Canada, he was signed by FC Edmonton of the new North American Soccer League in 2011.
[4] In May 2012, he was named the NASL player of the month for his five goals and two assists, including a hat trick against the Carolina Railhawks.
