Sheffield Ingalls (March 28, 1875 – January 17, 1937) was a banker, attorney[1] and Republican politician in the state of Kansas.
Outside politics he was a successful investor and banker in Atchison, Kansas.
[4] His father John James Ingalls was also a Kansas legislator.
[5] He was a graduate of the University of Kansas in the class of 1895 and served as chairman of the Alumni association from 1905 to 1906 and again from 1928 to 1929.
[6] In 1916, he published a book titled The History of Atchison, Kansas.
