Sherman is a village in Sangamon County, Illinois, United States.

The village was hit by a high end EF-2 tornado in the March 31st outbreak.

White alone - 3,161 (96.3%) Two or more races - 51 (1.6%) Asian alone - 40 (1.2%) American alone - 22 (0.7%) Hispanic - 8 (0.2%) There were 962 households, out of which 41.8% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 70.6% were married couples living together, 7.0% had a female householder with no husband present, and 19.8% were non-families.

Sherman is part of the Williamsville-Sherman Community Unit School District #15.

The Cartoon Network animated series Sym-Bionic Titan takes place in Sherman.
