Shimako Satō (佐藤嗣麻子, Satō Shimako) (born in 1964) is a Japanese film director and screenwriter.
Her husband is famed filmmaker Takashi Yamazaki.
Born in Iwate Prefecture, Satō attended the Asagaya College of Art and Design before studying filmmaking at the London International Film School.
