Shire of Victoria Plains

The Shire of Victoria Plains is a local government area in the Wheatbelt region of Western Australia, about 160 kilometres (100 mi) north of the state capital, Perth.

It covers an area of 2,569 square kilometres (992 sq mi), and its seat of government is the town of Calingiri.

The Victoria Plains Road District was gazetted on 24 January 1871 covering an area extending as far north as Carnamah and east to the South Australian border.
