Population: 70 (2010 Census);[2] 129 (2002 Census);[6] The village is located on the Prutishche River in the basin of the Seym, 79 km (49 mi) from the Russia–Ukraine border, 39 km (24 mi) north-west of Kursk, 22.5 km (14.0 mi) north of the district center – the town Kurchatov, 8.5 km (5.3 mi) from the selsoviet center – Kosteltsevo.
