Population: 121 (2010 Census);[2] 171 (2002 Census);[6] The village is located on the Demina River (a right tributary of the Seym), 69 km (43 mi) from the Russia–Ukraine border, 41 km (25 mi) north-west of Kursk, 13.5 km (8.4 mi) north of the district center – the town Kurchatov, 6.5 km (4.0 mi) from the selsoviet center – Kosteltsevo.
