Shirley Weierman

Shirley Ann Weierman (June 27, 1938 – July 11, 1999) played in the All-American Girls Professional Baseball League between 1953 and 1954.

Outside of her interest in baseball, Shirley enjoyed fishing, golf, painting and tennis.

Shirley was born in Lima, Ohio to parents Edwin Earl Weierman and Amy Grace Weierman, née Frankhouser.

Shirley began playing baseball for the AAGPBL at a very young age.

She earned a reputation as being a "good fielder and a better than average hitter.
