Sidney Hugh Reynolds

Sidney Hugh Reynolds DSc, FGS (18 December 1867 – 20 August 1949) was an English geologist, paleontologist, and zoologist who was born in Brighton.

[1][2] He died in Clifton, Bristol, aged 81 leaving behind a widow and a daughter.

[2][3] Following his retirement as a professor, Reynolds went on to become the curator of the Stroud District Cowle Museum.

(In the same year William Dickson Lang was also awarded the Lyell Medal for work done independently.)
