Prior to the 2010 Census, the area was designated as North Snyderville Basin CDP.
According to the United States Census Bureau, the CDP has a total area of 16.5 square miles (43 km2), all land.
As of the census[3] of 2000, there were 1,821 people, 690 households, and 436 families residing in the CDP.
24.8% of all households were made up of individuals, and 0.6% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older.
