Sir John Davie Ferguson Davie, 2nd Baronet (27 October 1830 – 16 June 1907),[1] known as John Ferguson until 1846, was a British Liberal politician, and British Army officer.
He adopted the additional surname of Davie in 1846 at the same time as his parents.

[2] Ferguson Davie became a captain in the Grenadier Guards in 1855, and in the same year fought in the Crimean War.
[6][2] He inherited the title of Baronet of Creedy upon his father Henry Ferguson Davie's death on 30 November 1885.
