The highlight is being a local team that has a large number of football fans in the Isan area.

In 2013 the Football Association of Thailand found Esan United guilty of forging documents, causing the club return to Sisaket.

Due to legal conflicts, Sisaket were suspended for the rest of the season but were not relegated.

Therefore, it can be regarded as the dissolution of the Sisaket FC team as a default.
