Sixteenth Century Journal

The senior editors are Merry Wiesner-Hanks and Patricia Phillippy.

In 2023, the Sixteenth Century Society took over ownership of the journal, which is to be published from 2024 by the University of Chicago Press.

[1] SCJ was founded in 1969, and has been at Truman State University since 1971.

It was initially a biannual journal and moved to quarterly publication in 1976.
