Slatinky is a municipality and village in Prostějov District in the Olomouc Region of the Czech Republic.
The highest point of the municipality and the whole Haná region is the hill Velký Kosíř at 442 m (1,450 ft) above sea level.
[2] The Kosířské lomy National Nature Monument extends into the southern part of the municipal territory.
Until the establishment of an independent municipality in 1848, the village belonged mostly to the Plumlov and Chudobín estates and to the St. Catherine Monastery in Olomouc.
[2] The railway line Prostějov–Červenka passes through the eastern part of the municipality, but there is no train station.
