"The Artist", the fourth track, contains many allusions to Oscar Wilde's The Picture of Dorian Gray, primarily the prologue.
The thirteenth track, "Eileen", also contains an allusion to Robert Herrick’s poem "To the Virgins, to Make Much of Time".
