16, see text Sobasina is a genus of jumping spiders that was first described by Eugène Louis Simon in 1898.
[2] These spiders look somewhat like ants, except for S. paradoxa, which looks more like a beetle.
As of August 2019[update] it contains sixteen species, found only in Oceania, Malaysia, and Indonesia:[1]
