Soda Bay is a census-designated place[3] in Lake County, California.

[2] It is located on Clear Lake 7.5 miles (12 km) east-southeast of Lakeport,[4] at an elevation of 1,398 feet (426 m).

A resort at the place, called Soda Bay Springs, could by 1910 accommodate 150 guests.

[4] According to the United States Census Bureau, the CDP has a total area of 1.3 square miles (3.4 km2), all of which is land.

There were 707 housing units at an average density of 550.2 per square mile (212.4/km2), of which 334 (72.3%) were owner-occupied, and 128 (27.7%) were occupied by renters.
