Sokolac, Bosnia and Herzegovina

Sokolac (Serbian Cyrillic: Соколац) is a municipality of the city of Istočno Sarajevo, Republika Srpska, Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Members of the VRS killed a woman in the village, then transported 44 men and boys to the Ivan Polje landfill, where they shot them dead.

The roads that intersect in Sokolac are between Sarajevo and the Adriatic Sea, Belgrade, Užice, Banja Luka and Bijeljina.
